To Carry On The Business Of Transportation Companies in Malaysia

The business of transportation companies in Malaysia is regulated by the Malaysian Land Public Transport Commission (SPAD). SPAD was established in 2006 under the Land Public Transport Act 2010 to regulate the land public transport system in Malaysia.

The business of transportation companies in Malaysia must be carried out in accordance with the provisions of the Land Public Transport Act 2010 and the regulations made thereunder. Companies that are found to be in contravention of the Act or the regulations may be liable to a fine of not more than RM100,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 5 years or to both.
