On behalf of the Board of Directors of ASB and UMG, Perdana Merchant Bankers Berhad is pleased to announce that the shareholders of the Company had at the extraordinary general meeting held on Thursday, 23 September 1999 approved the Proposed Disposal. The Proposed Disposal now remains conditional upon the approvals for the proposed acquisition being obtained by SBB from the Foreign Investment Committee and the shareholders of SBB at an extraordinary general meeting to be convened.
