Reference is made to SESB’s announcements dated 2 April 2020, 24 June 2020, 11 August 2020, 14 August 2020, 7 October 2020, 8 October 2020, 14 December 2020 and 14 January 2021 and 27 January 2021 (“Announcements”). Unless otherwise defined, the terms herein shall bear the same meaning as defined in the Announcements.

The Company wishes to announce that the Court has granted Orders on 9 February 2021 for, among others, the following:-

(i)  That the Judicial Management Orders of KMCOB, SOSB and SKMC (“Affected Companies”) dated 14 August 2020 be extended for a period of six (6) months from 14 February 2021;

(ii)  An extension of time of sixty (60) days from 14 February 2021 for the Judicial Manager to send a statement of his proposal pursuant to section 420(1)(a) of the Companies Act 2016 (“Statement of Proposal”) to the Registrar of Companies and to all creditors of the Affected Companies to their last known address, and to lay the Statement of Proposal before a meeting of the Affected Companies’ creditors summoned for the period of not less than fourteen (14) days’ notice; and

(iii)  An extension of time of sixty (60) days from 14 February 2021 for the Judicial Manager to send the Statement of Proposal to all members of the Affected Companies to the last known address of all the members, and to publish a notice in one widely circulated newspaper in Malaysia in the national language and one widely circulated newspaper in Malaysia in the English language stating an address to which the members of the Affected Companies should write for copies of the Statement of Proposal to be sent to the members free of charge.

The Company will make the relevant update announcement(s) in relation to the foregoing as and when there are material developments on the same.
