Conduct Companies in Malaysia

Conduct companies in Malaysia are required to comply with the Companies Act 1965 and the Companies Commission of Malaysia (CCM) guidelines. All companies must be registered with the Companies Commission of Malaysia, and must have a valid business license.

Conduct companies must maintain a registered office in Malaysia, and must appoint a company secretary who is a resident of Malaysia. The company secretary is responsible for ensuring that the company complies with all statutory requirements.

Conduct companies are required to hold an Annual General Meeting (AGM) within eighteen months of incorporation, and must submit annual financial statements to the Companies Commission of Malaysia.

Conduct companies are subject to taxation in Malaysia, and must pay corporate income tax at the rate of 28%. Withholding tax is also levied on dividends paid to shareholders.
