Convert Companies in Malaysia

Converting a company in Malaysia is a relatively simple process that can be completed within a few weeks. The first step is to submit the required documents to the Registrar of Companies (ROC). These include the Articles of Association, the Memorandum and Articles of Association, and the company’s registered address.

Once the ROC has processed the application, the company will be issued a Certificate of Incorporation. This document must be filed with the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (IRBM) within 30 days of the company’s incorporation.

The next step is to open a corporate bank account in Malaysia. This can be done at any local bank. The company will need to provide the bank with the Certificate of Incorporation and the Memorandum and Articles of Association.

Once the bank account has been opened, the company can begin operating in Malaysia. It is important to note that all companies operating in Malaysia must comply with the Companies Act 1965. This act governs the formation, registration, and operation of companies in Malaysia.
