Creating And Servicing Films Companies in Malaysia

The Malaysian film industry is a relatively new one, with the first feature film only being released in 1961. However, in the nearly 60 years since then, the industry has grown rapidly, with an increasing number of films being produced each year. Today, there are a number of film companies operating in Malaysia, both local and international, that are responsible for creating and servicing films.

The Malaysian film industry is governed by the National Film Development Corporation (FINAS), which is responsible for regulating and promoting the industry.
