Freehold Or Leasehold Companies in Malaysia

There are two types of companies in Malaysia, freehold and leasehold. Freehold companies own their premises outright, while leasehold companies lease their premises from another company or individual.

The main difference between the two types of companies is that freehold companies have more flexibility when it comes to their operations. They can expand or contract their businesses as they see fit, without having to worry about renewing their lease or finding new premises.

Leasehold companies, on the other hand, may have to contend with landlords who are unwilling to renew their leases, or who raise the rent significantly. This can make it difficult for leasehold companies to plan for the future and can limit their growth.
