Including Wired Companies in Malaysia

The Malaysian government is encouraging businesses to go digital and is investing in the development of the country’s digital infrastructure. This includes plans to roll out 5G technology and to connect all businesses to high-speed broadband by 2025. The government is also working on initiatives to increase the use of digital technologies by businesses, including a national e-invoicing system and a digital business registry.

One of the key enablers of this digital transformation is the use of wired companies. Wired companies are businesses that provide broadband, fixed-line and other telecommunications services. In Malaysia, there are four main wired companies – Telekom Malaysia, Maxis, Celcom and Time dotCom.

The government’s digital transformation plans will require a significant investment in the expansion and upgrading of these companies’ networks. This will enable them to provide the high-speed broadband and other services that businesses will need to go digital.

The government is also working with the wired companies to develop new digital services that businesses can use. This includes a national e-invoicing system and a digital business registry. These services will help businesses to save time and money, and to operate more efficiently.
