Licensed Money Changer Companies in Malaysia

In Malaysia, money changers are licensed by Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM), the central bank of Malaysia, under the Money Services Business Act 2011. There are two types of money changers in Malaysia:

1. Authorised money changers are money changers who are authorised by BNM to buy and sell foreign currency.

2. Licensed money changers are money changers who are licensed by BNM to buy foreign currency from the public and sell foreign currency to authorised dealers.

Money changers in Malaysia must display their rates for buying and selling foreign currency prominently at their premises.
