Operator Companies in Malaysia

Operator companies in Malaysia are responsible for the provision of telecommunications services in the country. There are four operator companies in Malaysia, namely Celcom, DiGi, Maxis and U Mobile. These companies are required to obtain a licence from the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) in order to operate in the country.

The four operator companies in Malaysia offer a variety of telecommunications services, including voice call services, data services, SMS and MMS services, and international roaming services. These companies also offer value-added services, such as content services, mobile commerce services and mobile payment services.

The four operator companies in Malaysia have different market share in terms of the number of subscribers. Celcom is the largest operator company with a market share of 38.9%, followed by Maxis with 32.6%, DiGi with 22.1% and U Mobile with 6.4%.
