Property Unit Trust (reits) Companies in Malaysia

REITS are a type of company that owns, operates or finances income-producing real estate. In Malaysia, REITs are listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia and are regulated by the Securities Commission.

REITs offer investors the opportunity to invest in a portfolio of income-producing real estate assets, without the hassle and expense of directly owning and managing the properties.

REITs typically pay out most of their income as dividends, which makes them an attractive investment for income-seeking investors.

The Malaysian REIT market has grown rapidly in recent years, with the total market capitalisation of REITs now exceeding RM60 billion. There are currently 36 REITs listed on Bursa Malaysia, with a wide variety of property types including office, retail, industrial, hospitality and healthcare.
