Research And Development On Biotechnology Companies in Malaysia

The Malaysian government has been actively promoting the development of the biotechnology industry in the country and has put in place a number of initiatives to support companies in this sector. One of the key initiatives is the BioNexus status, which is granted to companies that are engaged in activities that contribute to the development of the biotechnology industry in Malaysia. To date, there are over 200 BioNexus-status companies in Malaysia, many of which are involved in research and development (R&D) activities.

The government has also established a number of incentives to encourage companies to carry out R&D activities in Malaysia. In addition, the government has also put in place a number of initiatives to support the commercialization of research results. One of these is the BioValley Malaysia initiative, which is a one-stop center that provides a range of services to help companies commercialize their research results.
