Set-up Companies in Malaysia

Setting up a company in Malaysia is a relatively simple and straightforward process. There are a few key steps that need to be followed in order to successfully register a company.

The first step is to submit the required documents to the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM). These documents include the company’s Memorandum and Articles of Association, as well as the registration fee.

Once the documents have been submitted and the registration fee has been paid, the company will be officially registered and will be given a Unique Entity Number (UEN).

The next step is to open a bank account in the company’s name. This can be done at any local bank.

Once the bank account has been opened, the company will need to apply for a business license from the relevant government authority.

Once the business license has been obtained, the company can start operating legally in Malaysia.
