To Act As Nominees Companies in Malaysia

A nominee company is a company that is used by another company to act as a front or placeholder in order to comply with certain legal or regulatory requirements. In Malaysia, nominee companies are commonly used by foreign companies to comply with the requirements of the Malaysian Companies Act, which stipulates that at least two directors of a company must be resident in Malaysia. Nominee companies are also used by companies to comply with the requirements of the Malaysian Investment Development Authority, which requires that at least two directors of a company be resident in Malaysia.
