To Cultivate Companies in Malaysia

The Malaysian government has been actively promoting entrepreneurship and the development of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the country. This is in line with the government's goal of making Malaysia a developed nation by 2020.

One of the initiatives to promote entrepreneurship is the setting up of the Malaysian Global Innovation & Creativity Centre (MaGIC). MaGIC is a one-stop centre that provides support and resources for entrepreneurs. It also runs programmes to develop the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Malaysia.

Another initiative is the Bumiputera Entrepreneurship Development Programme (BEDP). This programme is designed to help Bumiputera entrepreneurs develop and grow their businesses. It provides financing, mentoring and training support.

The government has also put in place a number of tax incentives to encourage entrepreneurship. These include the Pioneer Status Incentive and the Investment Tax Allowance.

The Malaysian government is committed to developing an environment that is conducive to entrepreneurship and the growth of SMEs. This will help to create jobs and spur economic growth in the country.
