Bumi Armada Berhad (“BAB”) wishes to announce that its inactive subsidiary, Bumi Armada Australia Pty Ltd (“BAAPL”) was dissolved on 23 September 2021.

BAAPL was incorporated on 12 December 2011 in Australia and was a wholly-owned indirect subsidiary of BAB.

BAAPL had an issued share capital of AUD$10 comprised of shares of AUD$1.00 each.

BAAPL was principally involved in ship management, chartering, and the operation and maintenance of floating production storage offloading facilities. BAAPL ceased operations in 2016.  

The dissolution of BAAPL is in line with the BAB Group’s streamlining exercise and is not expected to have any material impact on the earnings or net assets of the BAB Group for the financial year ending 31 December 2021.

None of the Directors or Major Shareholders of BAB or persons connected to them have any interest, direct or indirect, in the dissolution of BAAPL.
