We refer to your query pertaining to the above and wish to clarify the following statement made in the Sun, Sun Biz, page 2 on Wednesday, 13 December 2000

" The construction of the NECC will be undertaken together with its joint venture partners, Nam Fatt Berhad and Sungei Way Construction Bhd."

" Sungei Way and Ahmad Zaki will own a 40% in the consortium and Nam Fatt 20%...."

We wish to confirm that the above statements are correct. The Company's wholly owned subsidiary Ahmad Zaki Sdn Bhd has participated in the tender for the NECC project jointly with Nam Fatt Berhad and Sungei Way Construction Berhad on the basis of 40%/20%/40% partnership.

The above statement was made in response to the press's question over the statement by MAHB to the Press which appeared on The Star, Business front page on Friday, 10 November 2000 with regards to the shortlisted bidder for the said project .

" Hamzah expects group turnover for the year ending Dec 31, 2000 to be RM260 million ...."

We wish to inform the Exchange that the anticipated turnover Group was errorly stated and barring unforeseen circumstances, the Group anitcipates to achieve a turnover in the region of RM230 million based on extraplorated assumption supported by its existing jobs in hand.
