CIMB Berhad Group announced the resignation of Encik Yusli Mohamed Yusoff as Chief Executive Director of CIMB Securities Sdn Bhd ("CIMBS"), a wholly owned subsidiary of CIMB Berhad with effect from 1st February 2004. Encik Yusli will take up the appointment of Chief Executive Officer of the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange.


According to Dato Nazir Razak, Group CEO, "Encik Yusli has been a key member of our management team and we certainly appreciate the contribution that he has provided to the firm over the past four years. It is an honour for us to have a member of our alumni chosen to assume such a prestigious position within the Malaysian capital markets."
