| CIMB Group has exceeded its full year prospectus pre-tax profit forecast of RM190 million by 85%, made in conjuction with its IPO in December 2002. The Group's impressive performance was facilitated by buoyant conditions in both the primary and secondary debt capital markets in 1H'03, recovery of the equity markets in 2H'03 and strong demand for corporate advisory services. |
