Reference is made to the Company’s announcements dated 1 July 2020 in relation to the application by Daya CMT Sdn Bhd (“DCMT”), a 51% owned subsidiary of DMB, for an order pursuant to Sections 366 and 368 of the Companies Act 2016, by the High Court of Malaya at Shah Alam (“Court”) (“Order”).
The Board of Directors of the Company wishes to announce that DCMT had filed a notice of application for an extension of the Order and the Court had granted DCMT an extension of the Order for a further period of 3 months from 30 September 2020 (“Extended Order”).
The Extended Order is not expected to have any material impact on the financial and operational matters of DCMT and its group of companies.
