Unless otherwise stated, all abbreviations used herein shall have the same meaning as those mentioned in the announcements dated 31 May 2021, 01 June 2021 and 02 June 2021 in relation to the Notice of Requisition for an Extraordinary General Meeting of the Company to Move Resolutions requiring Special Notice pursuant to Sections 206(3) and 322 of the Companies Act 2016 (“Announcements”)

Further to the Announcements, the Company wishes to announce after being advised by solicitors that the Notice of Requisition dated 31 May 2021 is invalid, the Company had vide its appointed firm of solicitors filed an Originating Summons and Application for Injunction against Ms. Norhayati Binti Tukiman, for, amongst others, declaration that the notice is null and void and to seek reliefs and damages.

The High Court of Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan had fixed the hearing on 11 June 2021.

Save for the corresponding legal costs, the Originating Summons and Application for Injunction is not expected to have any other material financial and operational impact on the Group.

The Company will make the necessary announcements on any material development or upon receipt of any further directions from the High Court of Kuala Lumpur.
