Unless otherwise stated, all abbreviations used herein shall have the same meaning as those mentioned in the announcements dated 14 September 2016, 07 December 2016 and 04 April 2017 in relation to the Order pursuant to Section 366 and Section 368 of the Companies Act, 2016.
The Board of Directors of EKA wishes to announce that the Order pursuant to Section 368 of the Companies Act 2016 for the EKA Group was set aside by the High Court of Malaya on 19 June 2017.
Notwithstanding the Restraining Order dated 28 March 2017, Metro Supplies Marketing Sdn Bhd has filed a civil suit at the Penang High Court on 29 March 2017 against Rasayang Food Industries Sdn Bhd and Dato’ Khor Wooi Chen and has obtained an Injunction Order on 31 March 2017 The civil suit is now fixed for case management on 03 August 2017.
