Unless otherwise stated, all abbreviations used herein shall have the same meaning as those mentioned in the earlier announcement in relation to the HOA on 8 August 2017.
Further to the announcements on 8 August 2017 and 3 October 2017, M&A Securities, on behalf of the Company, wishes to announce that as the proposed scheme of creditors and the regularisation plan for EKA have yet to be finalised, the parties to the HOA have mutually agreed to a further period of exclusivity of 3 months from the expiry of the first extension of the HOA on 6 January 2018 (i.e. until 5 April 2018) to decide on whether to proceed with the Proposed Acquisition.
