EKA FOODSTUFF SDN BHD RESUMES OPERATION

Following the announcement on 12 January 2017 regarding the proposed cessation of the operations of Kilang Bihun Bersatu Sdn Bhd (“KBBSB”) and EKA Foodstuff Sdn. Bhd.(“EFSB”) , the wholly-owned subsidiaries of the Company with effect from 18 January 2017, the Board of Directors (“the Board”) of EKA is pleased to inform that EFSB has fully resumed its operation effective today.

EFSB is principally engaged in the business of marketing of all type of rice and sago starch and related products produced by KBBSB. The Board expects the production activities of KBBSB to fully resume by next month. Further updates will be provided in due course.
