(Unless otherwise stated, all abbreviations used herein shall have the same meaning as those mentioned in the announcements dated 14 September 2016, 07 December 2016, 04 April 2017, 05 July 2017 and 2 February 2018 in relation to the Order pursuant to Section 366 and Section 368 of the Companies Act, 2016 (formerly, Section 176(1) and Section 176(2) of the Companies Act 1965) (“Announcements”))

The Company wishes to announce that the Company and the EKA Group had on 19 March 2018, been served with an Initiatial Summon by Tan Hooi Ming (NRIC No. 750326-07-5567) (First Intervenor) who trade under the name and style of SEV Partnership Enterprise (Business Registration No. PG0259549-K)] of No. 26-T, Jalan Satu, Mukim 13, Ayer Itam, 11400 Pulau Pinang with Tan Hooi Kang (NRIC No. 770918-07-6107) (2nd Intervenor) to intervene and set aside the Order dated 22 January 2018 to the Company and the EKA Group to convene Creditors’ Meeting and Members’ Meeting pursuant to Section 366 of the Companies Act 2016 within 90 days from 22 January 2018 between 9 am and 5 pm.

The Company is seeking legal advice in respect of the above matter and any development would be announced to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad in due course.
