The Company wishes to announce that Kilang Bihun Bersatu Sdn Bhd (“KBBSB”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of EKA, Chin Seak Huat (collectively, “the Defendants”) and the Company had, on 18 December 2017 received a letter from Hap Seng Credit Sdn Bhd (“Plaintiff”) through a firm of lawyers acting on their behalf notifying the Defendants that the Plaintiff, had on 23 November 2017 updated the Court that the settlement proposal for Accounts Nos. 10003/32/002796/68 and 10003/32/002797/49 are to be void and not applicable anymore as the Defendants had failed to comply with the terms earlier agreed.

Pursuant to that, the Court in their decision on 23 November 2017 allowed the Plaintiff’s application for summary judgement against the Defendants for the sum as follows:-

The Defendants are liable to pay the judgement amount together with legal cost, failing which, the Plaintiff shall proceed with Levi proceeding to enforce the judgement whereby the Defendants are liable for every legal cost incurred.

For Suit No. WA-A72NCC-14868-03-/2017 (Account No. 10003/32/002795/87) had been withdrawn by the Court on 13 October 2017.
