We refer to the announcements made by the Company on 30 August 2016, 4 October 2016, 1 November 2016, 1 December 2016, 3 January 2017, 2 February 2017, 6 March 2017, 18 April 2017, 3 May 2017, 1 June 2017, 3 July 2017, 1 August 2017, 5 September 2017, 2 October 2017, 2 November 2017 and 4 December 2017 and 4 January 2018 in relation to the Company being classified as an affected listed issuer under Practice Note 17 of the Listing Requirements (“PN17”) of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad ("Bursa Securities").

Save for the announcement on 8 January 2018 wherein EKA and the parties to the Heads of Agreement (“HOA”) have mutually agreed to a further period of exclusivity of 3 months from 6 January 2018 (i.e. until 5 April 2018) to decide on whether to proceed with the acquisition by EKA of the entire equity interest in Kepala Batas Bihun Sdn Bhd, on behalf of the Board of Directors of EKA, M&A Securities Sdn Bhd wishes to announce that there is no major development that has not been announced subsequent to the approval of Bursa Securities for an extension of time up to 28 February 2018 for the Company to submit its regularisation plan.

The Company has approximately 1 month to submit its regularisation plan to the relevant authorities and will make the necessary announcement on the regularisation plan in accordance with the requirements under PN17.
