    We refer to the announcement dated 20 July 2006 on the unaudited financial results for the fourth quarter ended 31 May 2006 ("Unaudited Results"), the Board of Directors of ES Ceramics ("Board"), wish to announce that there is a positive profit deviation of more than 10% between the profit after tax ("PAT") of RM1.975 million and RM1.708 million.

    The audited consolidated PAT for the financial year ended 31 May 2006 is RM1.975 million (Audited Results) which is approximately 15.6% higher than the Unaudited Results of RM1.708 milion, as announced on the 20 July 2006. The difference of RM267,088 in PAT is mainly due to the over-provision of deferred taxation made in the Unaudited Results of RM314,242.

    The reconciliation of PAT in the Unaudited Results to the Audited Results is detailed in Table 1.
