    ES Ceramics Technology Bhd (ES Ceramics or "Company"), wishes to announce that the Companys public shareholding spread according to the Record of Depositors of ES Ceramics as at 2 July 2007 is as follows:-

    Note:

    * Number of public shareholders who each hold not less than 100 shares of RM0.10 each in ES Ceramics.

    Accordingly, the Company does not comply with the public shareholding spread as prescribed under Rule 8.15(1) of the MMLR, whereby a listed company must ensure that at least 25% of its total listed shares are in the hands of a minimum of 1,000 public shareholders holding not less than 100 shares each (Required Shareholding Spread).

    Pursuant to Rule 8.15(3) of the MMLR, the Company had on 10 July 2007 submitted an application to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad for an extension of time until 1 July 2008, being one (1) year from 2 July 2007, to meet the Required Shareholding Spread.

    This announcement is dated 10 July 2007.
