    Further to the announcement dated 10 July 2007, the Board of Directors of ES Ceramics wishes to announce that Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad had via its letter dated 26 July 2007 granted the Company an extension of time of six (6) months until 1 January 2008, instead of 1 July 2008 as requested, to comply with the public shareholding spread requirements pursuant to Rule 8.15 (1) of the MMLR.

    The public shareholding spread according to the Record of Depositors as at 2 July 2007 of ES Ceramics is as follows:-

    Number of public shareholders:541
    Percentage (%) of public spread:38.65%

    At this juncture, the Company has not formulated any formal rectification plan to increase the number of public shareholders. However, the Company endeavours to formulate such plan and will explore steps to increase the liquidity of its shares.
