The Board of Directors of ES Ceramics Technology Berhad ("the Company") wishes to announce that the Companys public shareholding spread based on the Record of Depositor as at 5 November 2007 was as follows:-

Percentage of public shareholding spread	38.87%


Pursuant to Rule 8.15(1) of the MMLR, which takes effect from 3 July 2006, a listed company must ensure that at least 25% of its total listed shares are in the hands of a minimum of 1,000 public shareholders holding not less than 100 shares each ("Required Public Shareholding Spread").

Accordingly, the Company did not comply with the Required Public Shareholding Spread. However, Bursa Securities has granted an extension of time until 1 January 2008 for the Company to comply with the Required Public Shareholding Spread.

As at the date of this announcement, the Company has yet to finalise a formal plan to be taken to increase its public shareholding spread to comply with Rule 8.15(1) of the MMLR ("Rectification Plan"). However, the Company endeavours to take the necessary actions to comply with the public shareholding spread. The Rectification Plan would depend on the feasibility of the actual exercise to be carried out.

The Company will continue to monitor its shareholding spread to enable the Company to comply with Rule 8.15(1) of the MMLR.
