Reference is made to GENM's announcement made on 26 October 2018 on the application for striking-off its dormant wholly-owned subsidiary, Genting Irama Sdn Bhd  ("GISB") from the Register of the Companies Commission of Malaysia ("CCM") under Section 550 of the Companies Act 2016 ("Act").

 

The Company wishes to announce that pursuant to Section 551(3) of the Act, GISB had been struck off from the Register of the CCM as provided in the Gazette dated 6 March 2019. The date of Gazette was published in the CCM's website on 11 June 2019. Following this, GISB ceased to be a subsidiary of the Company with effect from 6 March 2019.
