Contents	On behalf of JF Tech, HwangDBS Investment Bank Berhad (HwangDBS) wishes to announce that the Securities Commission (Equity Compliance Unit) (SC (ECU)) has, vide its letter dated 13 April 2009 (Approval Date), approved the Companys application for an extension of time of up to 30 December 2010 to comply with the Bumiputera equity condition which was imposed on the Company in accordance with the Guideline on the Acquisition of Interests, Mergers and Take-Overs by Local and Foreign Interests pursuant to the Companys listing on the MESDAQ Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (Bumiputera Equity Condition). HwangDBS/JF Tech is required to undertake the following: (i) submit to SC (ECU) a corporate proposal on how the Company proposes to meet the Bumiputera Equity Condition within six (6) months from the Approval Date; (ii) submit an application to the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) (Application) for the purpose of allocating the Bumiputera shares to Bumiputera investors. In the event that the Bumiputera shares are not fully subscribed by Bumiputera investors or MITI is unable to allocate the Bumiputera shares to Bumiputera investors within one (1) year from the Application, JF Tech would be exempted from complying with the Bumiputera Equity Condition; and (iii) submit a quarterly status report to the SC (ECU) on the status of MITIs allocation of Bumiputera shares to Bumiputera investors.
