ContentsHwangDBS Investment Bank Berhad (HwangDBS), on behalf of JF Tech, wishes to announce that the Securities Commission (SC) had, vide their letter dated 19 January 2010, which was received on 21 January 2010, approved the Offer for Sale.

The Offer for Sale is subject to:

(i) the Offer for Sale Shares being allocated to Bumiputera investors who are recognised by the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) and who are public as defined under the Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad. In the event that the Offer for Sale Shares are not fully subscribed by Bumiputera investors or MITI is unable to allocate those shares to Bumiputera investors within one (1) year from the application to MITI, JF Tech would be deemed to have complied with the Bumiputera equity condition; and

(ii) HwangDBS/JF Tech to inform SC the status of the Bumiputera equity condition as soon as the Offer for Sale is completed.
