ContentsReference is made to the announcements dated 4 September 2009, 26 October 2009 and 21 January 2010 in relation to the Offer for Sale and JF Techs compliance with the Bumiputera equity condition.

HwangDBS Investment Bank Berhad, on behalf of JF Tech, wishes to announce that we have on even date notified the Securities Commission (SC) (Equity Compliance Unit) that JF Tech is deemed to have complied with the Bumiputera equity condition in accordance with the conditions as set out in the letter from the SC dated 19 January 2010.

The deemed compliance takes effect following the expiry of one (1) year from the date JF Tech submitted its application to the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) on 4 September 2009 for the purpose of allocating the Offer for Sale shares pursuant to the Offer for Sale. On 19 October 2010, we received a confirmation letter from MITI stating that as of September 2010 there were no interested Bumiputera investors for the Offer for Sale shares.

In view that the Offer for Sale was undertaken to facilitate the compliance of the Bumiputera equity condition, and since JF Tech is now deemed compliant with the Bumiputera equity condition, the Offer for Sale is no longer required.
