The Board of Directors of Kossan is pleased to announce that the Proposed Bonus Issue as proposed in the announcement on 11 May 1999 has been approved by the Securities Commission vide its letter dated 4 August 1999.


However, the Proposed Bonus Issue is still subject to the approval being obtained from the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange for the listing of and quotation for the new ordinary shares to be issued pursuant to the Proposed Bonus Issue.
