1. INTRODUCTION

On 26th October 2020, Lebtech Construction Sdn Bhd (“Lebtech” or the “Company”) was served with “Writ Saman dan Penyataan Tuntutan” dated 19.10.2020 under “Aturan 62 Kaedah 4 Kaedah-kaedah Mahkamah 2012” by SPM Hardware Sdn Bhd (Co No 605465-K) (‘SPM Hardware) via its solicitors Yong dan Rakan-Rakan.

The Company wishes to announce that the Company had received a “Writ Saman dan Penyataan Tuntutan” from SPM hardware for a total claim of  RM 1,298,256.35 and accrued interest of 1.5% monthly  as at 19.10.2020 amounting RM 662,204.42.

2. BACKGROUND INFORMATION

On 2015 until 2020, the Company appointed SPM Hardware as the Supplier for goods and equipment for the projects under the Company such as Taman Dato Demang, Puchong and other maintenance supply.

SPM Hardware alleged that the Company has failed to pay a balance amounting RM1,298,256.35 for the purchase of goods that have been sold and delivered since 2015.

The Company is reviewing the claim amount and try to have reconciliation with SPM Hardware to resolve this matter amicably.

Further announcement will be made in respect of any material development thereof.
