Mesiniaga Berhad ("Mesiniaga") wishes to announce that we are acquiring 30% Equity Interest comprising of 150,000 Ordinary Shares of RM1.00 each in ASP for a cash consideration of RM 300,000.


ASP, established in August 1999, is an appointed Affiliate Business Partner of System Software Associates Inc. of USA ("SSA") and IBM. The company specialises in providing client server based enterprise business applications from SSA to the manufacturing and industrial sectors.

The proportionate value of the assets being acquired is RM 126,829.

This transaction is financed by internal funds and does not involve the interests of any directors or substantial shareholders of Mesiniaga. There is no immediate impact on Mesiniaga revenue and profit expected from this transaction.
