Revision to the utilisation of proceeds and Extension of time

We refer to the Prospectus of the Company dated 30 September 1999.
On 5 January 2000, Amanah Merchant Bank Berhad ("Amanah") on behalf of the Company had made an application to the Securities Commission to seek for the following approvals:
(i) extension of time of up to 31 December 2000 for the utilisation of proceeds amounting to RM5,000,000 in respect of a joint venture and RM2,162,000 in respect of setting up of a research and development project of the Company;
(ii) revision and extension of time of up to 30 June 2001 for the utilisation of proceeds amounting to RM7,000,000 in respect of the acquisition of building/ shop where the Company now proposes to acquire a piece of land and to subsequently construct a building; and
(iii) revision to the utilisation of proceeds amounting to RM198,200 in respect of the estimated expenses where it is proposed that the excess amount be utilised for working capital purposes.
Amanah wishes to announce on behalf of Mesiniaga that the Company had obtained an approval from the SC in respect of the above vide a letter dated 17 February 2000.
