Mr John Ding Lien Bing was attached to MBf Holdings Berhad Group (MBfH) for over twenty (20) years. From May 2006 to October 2007 he left MBfH for a short stint of eighteen (18) months at OSK Holdings Berhad as a Group Chief Financial Officer. His career in MBfH began as a Finance Manager with its subsidiary company MBF Cards (M) Sdn Bhd that was involved in credit and charge cards business. In 1998, John was transferred to the holding company to take charge of Corporate Affairs and Finance functions of MBfH and MBf Capital Berhad which were listed on Bursa Malaysia. Subsequently, he assumed the dual roles as the President of MBF Cards and Chief Financial Officer of MBfH.

In January 2011, John left MBfH to join MBf Corporation Berhad (MBf Corp). Currently, he is the President of MBf Corp, an investment holding company having subsidiaries involving in the promotion and sale of timeshare memberships, resort management services and properties investment. He is also the Chief Executive Officer and Director of Leisure Holidays Berhad which is a subsidiary of MBf Corp.

John was appointed to the Board of Mynews Holdings Berhad on 10 July 2015 as an Independent Director and subsequently assumed the position of Independent Non-Executive Chairman since the listing of the Company on Bursa Malaysia on 29 March 2016. On 1 March 2022, he is redesignated to be an Executive Chairman to enable him to actively contribute towards the management of the Company.
