Further to our announcement dated 6.1.2022, the Company wishes to inform that the solicitors for NECSB have on 19.1.2022 received a sealed copy of the Notice of Application for summary judgment dated 10.1.2022 made by the Plaintiff for the claim of RM7,650,990.74. The earlier claim in the main suit was RM8,403,746.19. The hearing date for the Plaintiff’s summary judgment application is fixed on 22.2.2022. The solicitors for NECSB are currently preparing to file the Affidavit in Reply for the said application.
The Company will make the necessary announcement on the material development of this legal suit as and when necessary.
