    On behalf of the Company, Arab-Malaysian Merchant Bank Berhad ("AMMB") is pleased to announce that the Rights Issues have been oversubscribed.

    With the closing of the Rights Issues on 17 February 2000, applications were received for RM116,484,465 nominal amount of RUB and RM116,484,465 nominal amount of ICULS with 116,484,465 Warrants B (including excess applications), representing an over-subscription of RM15,060,470 nominal amount of RUB and RM15,060,470 nominal amount of ICULS with 15,060,470 Warrants B or an over-subscription rate of 14.85%.

    The allotment of RUB, ICULS and Warrants B to successful applicants will be carried out no later than 2 March 2000.
