The Board of Star Media Group Berhad wishes to inform that it has joined Paramount Corporation Berhad (Paramount), the lead applicant for a consortium via an application submitted to Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) on 30 June 2021, for a digital banking licence pursuant to the Licensing Framework For Digital Banks And Application Procedures For New Licences Under The Financial Services Act 2013 issued by BNM.
