In the unlikely event that we are unable to achieve full readiness for the systems (b) and (c) described in paragraph 1 above, our other existing systems are able to undertake the processes with minimal interruptions.
Further contingency plans and policies are in place for critical business systems, operations and impact of business interruptions on key suppliers, vendors and customers who could be affected by the Y2K issues.

Due to the existence of multiple suppliers and distributors, exposures in this regard is minimal. Our other exposure is the Y2K Readiness of telecommunications, transportation, utilities and government sectors which to a large extent is beyond our control but which can affect our operations. However, we are unable to gauge the possible Y2K effects that could occur in embedded systems.
Contingency plans are being finalised to minimise the impact of business interruptions affected by Y2K issues, including the building up of inventory and identifying suitable alternative suppliers in the event major suppliers incur system failure due to Y2K issues.

Policies and procedures for Y2K Contingency Planning are continually being established and up-dated for systems supporting critical business processes to ensure the successful transition into Year 2000 with minimal disruption and losses. Such policies and procedures include the establishment of clear lines of authority and responsibility and procedure for invoking and operating contingency modes and returning to normal operating modes.
