1.  INTRODUCTION

Reference is made to the announcement dated 29 July 2022 in relation to the Offer for Sale in conjunction with the Listing (“Announcement”). Unless otherwise stated, words and phrases used in this announcement shall have the same meanings as defined in the Announcement.

On behalf of the Board, HLIB wishes to announce that the updates in relation to the Announcement as follows:

(a) last date and time for acceptance and payment as well as excess share application and payment set out in the Announcement had been revised from 26 August 2022, 5.00 p.m. to 24 August 2022, 5.00 p.m.;

(b) the Retail Price had been set at RM1.15 per ROFS Unit, and is subject to refund of the difference between the Retail Price and the Final Retail Price (as defined in the Prospectus of AME REIT dated 17 August 2022 ("Prospectus")), if the Final Retail Price is less than the Retail Price; and

(c) the timetable in relation to the Listing have been made by AME REIT on 17 August 2022.

For the avoidance of doubt, the Entitlement Date and time, being 15 August 2022 at 5.00 p.m., and securities entitlement ratio of 1 ROFS Unit for every 5 AME Shares as set out in the Announcement, remain unchanged.

2.  RATIONALE FOR THE REVISIONS IN SECTION 1

The revisions in Section 1 above have been made after:

(a) finalisation of the terms and conditions of the Offering which includes the ROFS; and

(b) taking into consideration the basis as set out in Section 3.7.1 of the Prospectus which includes the prevailing capital and property market conditions and sentiments.
