We refer to the announcement issued on 25 February 2019 (Reference: FRA-21022019-00045) (“Announcement”) which sets out among others, the details of Cabnet Systems’s (a wholly owned subsidiary of Cabnet) abovementioned Construction Court Suit and Civil Suit. Unless otherwise stated, the terms used herein shall have the same meanings as stated in the Announcement.

The Company wishes to announce the following updates in relation to the Construction Court Suit and the Civil Suit:

(1)     The case management for the Construction Court Suit was held on 5 March 2019. At the said case management, the 1st Defendant i.e. Dekad Kaliber had via its solicitors filed an extension of time for the Court to allow its out of time affidavit to be accepted. Meanwhile, the 2nd Defendant i.e. Rimarisan had via its solicitors filed an application to strike out the Construction Court Suit and may also be filing an extension of time to reply to the Plaintiff (i.e. Cabnet Systems)’s affidavit.

The Plaintiff, via its solicitors, will file its reply to Rimarisan’s striking out application by 19 March 2019. The Plaintiff will also be objecting Rimarisan’s application for extension of time to reply to the Plaintiff’s affidavit (if any).

(2)     The case management for the Civil Suit was held on 18 February 2019. Parties were directed to file replies accordingly. Any interlocutory applications must be filed by 4 April 2019.

(3)     The next case management for both the abovementioned Suits are fixed on 4 April 2019.

Further material developments to the abovementioned Construction Court Suit and the Civil Suit will be announced in due course.
