Further to our announcements dated 4 September 2018, 16 August 2018, 30 July 2018, 10 July 2018, 12 June 2018, 29 January 2018, 18 January 2018, 19 December 2017, 21 August 2017, 10 August 2017, 15 February 2017, 1 December 2016, 30 November 2016, 2 September 2016, 25 August 2016, 22 July 2016, 13 May 2016, 3 March 2016, 2 February 2016, 28 August 2015, 3 October 2013 and 16 July 2013, pertaining to the litigation action taken by Comintel, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Comcorp against U Television Sdn Bhd & Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Vincent Tan Chee Yioun in Civil Application No.: 08(f)-449-09/2015, the Board of Directors of Comcorp wishes to announce that at the Federal Court (“FC”)’s hearing yesterday in relation to the review of FC’s decision on 18 August 2017, FC adjourned the hearing of the said review to 31 October 2018 for both Comintel and UTV to conduct further research to address the Judges’ queries. Further, FC also allowed Comintel’s application for a stay of execution of the FC’s Order of 18 August 2017 pending the final disposal of the said review. . This announcement is dated 3 October 2018.
