Further to our announcements dated 12 June 2018,  29 January 2018, 18 January 2018, 19 December 2017, 21 August 2017, 10 August 2017, 15 February 2017, 1 December 2016, 30 November 2016, 2 September 2016, 25 August 2016, 22 July 2016, 13 May 2016, 3 March 2016, 2 February 2016, 28 August 2015, 3 October  2013 and 16 July 2013, pertaining to the litigation action taken by Comintel, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Comcorp against U Television Sdn Bhd & Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Vincent Tan Chee Yioun in Civil Application No.: 08(f)-449-09/2015, the Board of Directors of Comcorp wishes to announce that Comintel had on 5 July 2018 filed a Notice of Motion together with an Affidavit in Support for amongst others, an order that the part of the Federal Court's decision of 18 August 2017 which allowed the Counterclaim of UTV and Tan Sri Dato' Vincent Tan be set aside on the ground of breach of natural justice and be directed to be reheard (“Review”). The Federal Court via its letter dated yesterday, 9 July 2018, informed Comintel that a case management for the Review is fixed on 27 July 2018. 

On 9 July 2018, the High Court dismissed Comintel’s application for a Fortuna Injunction to prevent the presentation of a winding-up petition against Comintel, with costs of Ringgit Malaysia Twelve Thousand (RM12,000.00) ("HC Decision"). Comintel has lodged an appeal to the Court of Appeal against the HC Decision on 10 July 2018 and will file an application to the Court of Appeal for an order to stay the presentation of the winding up petition, pending the disposal of the appeal against the HC Decision.
