The Board of Directors of Comintel Corporation Bhd (“the Company”) wishes to announce that the Company has on 10 December 2018, received a notice in writing pursuant to Section 281 (2) of the Companies Act, 2016 from Messrs Russ Ooi & Associates ("ROA”) on their resignation as Auditors of the Company and Group with effect after twenty one (21) days from 10 December 2018.

ROA who has been the Auditors of the Company were re-appointed as the Auditors of the Company at the last Annual General Meeting (“AGM”) of the Company held on 3 July 2018 to hold office until the conclusion of the next AGM of the Company. The resignation of ROA is on a voluntary basis.

Save for the above, the Board of Directors is not aware of any matters that need to be brought to the attention of the shareholders of the Company.

The Company has identified Messrs RSM Malaysia as the replacement Auditors. However, their appointment can only be finalized upon receiving their letter of consent to act as Auditors of the Company.
