The Board of Directors of Diversified Gateway Solutions Berhad ("the Company") is pleased to announce that QBI Packaging Sdn Bhd ("QBI"), a 70%-owned subsidiary of the Company, had received conditional approval from Malaysian Industrial Development Authority ("MIDA") on 14 July 2020 for a Pioneer Status Incentive under the Promotion Of Investment Act 1986 for which 70% of the statutory income derived from the manufacturing of Sweetened Creamer will be exempted from tax for a period of 5 years.  

QBI is required to apply to MIDA for a Pioneer Status Certificate within 24 months from 14 July 2020.
